Lawyers Land & Title Services, LLC recently announced Lisa Croyle as its newest closing agent. An experienced title processor, Croyle will bring her knowledge and skill to the residential closing division of the company.
“We are very excited to add Lisa to our team,” said J.D. Kious, Attorney and President of Lawyers Land & Title Services. “Among other qualities, she has the energy and tactfulness necessary for the growth of this company.”
Originally from Endwell, New York, Croyle is a graduate of Maine Endwell High School. She studied liberal arts at Broome Community College before relocating to Murfreesboro six years ago. Though she had planned for a career in the food industry, an opportunity arose as a closing agent igniting her passion for the land and title industry.
“I’m excited to work for a company who is small, yet has such a large heart,” said Croyle. “I’m joining a team that brings a smile to every client who walks through the door.”
Away from closings, Croyle loves playing volleyball and cooking for friends and family.

Lawyers Land & Title Services, LLC recently announced the addition of Sarah Fryar Cantrell to its team. Cantrell has been named marketing and operations manager and will oversee the operations of the company and all marketing initiatives.
“Sarah fills a very valuable role in our company,” said J.D. Kious, Attorney and President of Lawyers Land & Title Services. “Her extensive marketing and operations experience will make her a great fit for our team.”
Cantrell brings to the table years of experience in broadcast and print media as her resume includes past experience with Athlon Sports, TNDV Television and The Murfreesboro Post. At The Murfreesboro Post, Cantrell was a co-owner and oversaw daily operations of the newspaper. Cantrell attended MTSU where she studied mass communication and business administration.
In addition, Cantrell has served with many organizations in leadership roles, which include Beesley Animal Foundation and Murfreesboro Rotary Club.
“I’m elated to join Lawyers Land & Title Services. The knowledge of real estate and range of services, in addition to the community relationships this team has built and maintained makes them the best in the business,” Cantrell said.

It’s been four months since the implementation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures rule in October shook up the housing industry, and many in the industry are still getting used to the new normal.
But, starting Wednesday, there’s a small portion of the TRID rule that will be changing, thanks to a “typographical error” in the supplementary information provided by the CFPB.
