Jess Tolley has managed everything from new contracts to deed preparation during her years in the title industry. As pre & post closing coordinator, she opens and assigns new files to processors before closing and warehousing transactions recently completed. Jess’s favorite aspect about her position is working directly with processors, which gives her the opportunity to learn something new every day.
Jess is a native of Jackson, Miss., and has been a Smyrna resident for 16 years. She loves Rutherford County’s commerce and the many shops and restaurants it offers. Jess is a 2006 graduate of Blackman High School and majored in general studies at Middle Tennessee State University.
She enjoys kayaking, reading and competing in a local dart league. Jess is also an avid runner having completed many 5Ks, 15Ks and a half marathon all within the past year.

John Parker never considered a career in the title industry until the opportunity presented itself. With a background in technology sales and support, he was intrigued by the faster pace of processing closings. Factor in the rate of growth Rutherford County has seen in the past few years, John was quickly hooked.
He works daily with commercial lenders, agents, auctioneers and investors. John’s favorite part of the job is that no two files are the same and he jumps at the opportunity to do business with clients from all walks of life.
John is a Bedford County native and a 2006 graduate of Cascade High School. He studied communications at Middle Tennessee State University. In his spare time, he enjoys tinkering with electronics and venturing outdoors, especially with his two pups, Hayden and Poppy.

J.D. received his undergraduate degree from Furman University in 2002 and his law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2005. He was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 2005. His areas of practice include commercial and residential real estate closings and transactions; loan transactions; 1031 like-kind exchanges; leases; contracts; wills, trusts and probate estates; and corporate transactions, including partnerships, LLCs, and for profit and not for profit corporations.

Angela Howard processed her first closing more than a decade ago and hasn’t looked back since. As residential closing manager of Lawyers Land & Title Services, Angela has supervised transactions for builders, lenders and agents throughout Middle Tennessee. The closing she finds most gratifying, however, is with the first-time home buyer.
Angela is a graduate of Smyrna High School and has an associate’s degree in paralegal studies from Kaplan Career Institute. She is an active member of Rutherford CABLE and Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors. Angela enjoys spending time with her two children and helping out at Christ Community Church in Smyrna, Tennessee.

Lynn Vaught has played a vital role in closing real estate transactions for more than 28 years. Managing the commercial closing division of Lawyers Land & Title Services, Lynn works hand in hand with lenders, brokers and agents, auctioneers, developers and investors. Naturally, her favorite part of the job is relationships built along the way.
A Murfreesboro native, Lynn graduated from Oakland High School before receiving her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Middle Tennessee State University. She and husband, Mike, live on a working farm in Lascassas where he raises cattle and crops. Lynn loves spending her spare time on the farm with her family and grandchildren and is a member of Lascassas Baptist Church.
